Assignment one feedback

I received very positive comments about assignment one...Very encouraging and motivating! So now I must move on to assignment two. I hope to finish it by the time mama visits. This time it's quite a difficult one. A full magazine analysis and a 1500 word piece plus outline for submission. Nevermind...no one said it was going to be easy!!! ;o)

Intro....

Joined a creative writing site....whether I'll manage or not is another story. I am also taking a course in creative writing by correspondence. I posted my first assignment yesterday. All it was was a personal profile questionnaire and 300 words explaining why i want to be a writer. So far, so good.

I also received my £100 cheque for a poem I had published last year....apparently it won first prize in a "New Poets" competition thing....Quite bizarre. It also won last year, and it was written way back in 2002, so I have my doubts as to whether it actually classifies as new material or not!

Anyway...I won't be returning the £100!!! The poem is called "Betrayed" for all those who are bored enough to be reading this blog!!! I decided not to write about my writing stuff in my main blog and use a separate one so that I won't bore the readers to death with my crap :o) You're welcome.
