I am also taking a course in creative writing by correspondence. I posted my first assignment yesterday. All it was was a personal profile questionnaire and 300 words explaining why i want to be a writer. So far, so good.<br /><br />I also received my £100 cheque for a poem I had published last year....apparently it won first prize in a "New Poets" competition thing....Quite bizarre. It also won last year, and it was written way back in 2002, so I have my doubts as to whether it actually classifies as new material or not!<br /><br />Anyway...I won't be returning the £100!!! The poem is called <span style="font-style: italic;">"Betrayed" </span>for all those who are bored enough to be reading this blog!!!
